How to Get Reaper x Voodoo Fusion in Grow a Chicken Fighter

The Reaper x Voodoo fusion is a Reaper Rooster carrying the Doll Hen’s Voodoo skill. It takes two rare Haunt Egg hatches and one fusion with the skill locked; everything else is farming.

Step 1: Set up a Haunt Egg farm

Both chickens you need come out of the Haunt Egg, so the real grind is producing Haunt Eggs fast.

StepWhat to hatch or buyWhy
1Scratch Egg (Cosmo Brat lays it 100%; the SERGIOVERSE code gives one)Entry to the Slugger line
2Slugger Hen (8% from Scratch)Lays Arena Egg 75%
3Creepy Clown (11% from Arena)Lays Haunt Egg 75%
4Zombie Chick (23% from Haunt)Lays Haunt Egg 100%, one every 2 minutes
5Fuse extra Zombie Chicks into onePlayers report faster Haunt laying from a stacked Zombie

Once you have a Zombie Chick the loop feeds itself. The Haunt Egg page has the full pool. One creator claims Haunt Eggs only come from Blazing Eggs, but four other recorded runs used the Slugger to Clown chain above; the Blazing Egg is just the shortcut.

Step 2: Hatch a Doll Hen and a Reaper Rooster

The Doll Hen carries Voodoo. The Reaper is the body you want to carry it. Expect the Reaper to take longer; it is the rarest drop in the Haunt pool. If you win a Blazing Egg from a Hot Egg event, it has better odds for both and is worth opening when you are on this grind.

Step 3: Fuse with Voodoo locked

  • Open Fuse. Pick the Reaper Rooster as the base (the one you keep).
  • Pick the Doll Hen as the donor.
  • In the preview, lock Voodoo. Do not skip this: an unlocked skill gets re-rolled, and one player who wanted Rebirth walked away with Event Horizon instead.
  • If you have a second free lock slot, use it on the Reaper’s level so it does not reset.
  • Confirm, then open the card and check that Voodoo is listed.

Fusion costs Cash and the price rises with each fusion you do; see the fuse guide for what else carries over.

Why a Reaper and not the Doll Hen itself

Voodoo’s in-game card reads “Whatever lands on her, lands on you. She is fine with the arrangement.” It reflects damage back at whatever hits the chicken and comes with high defense, but it has one hole: it does not heal. That means the bird lives as long as its HP bar lasts, so you want the biggest HP pool you can get under the skill. Cosmic chickens are the only tier besides secret that reaches the 31 stat cap, and the Reaper is the cosmic you can realistically farm. Players who stream tower pushes call the Voodoo Reaper the best tower and PvP bird, with the 404 Chick plus Cycle of Ash as its only rival; see the tier list.

Step 4 (optional): Reaper x Nebula Hen

One creator’s endgame version fuses the Voodoo Reaper with a Nebula Hen, another cosmic with a high base HP. The Nebula Hen drops from the Void Egg at 1% and the Blazing Egg at 2%, so this is a late upgrade, not a starting goal. Keep Voodoo locked again when you do it. Players also chase an inverted Reaper for the stat bump; that is its own grind on the inverted chickens page.

Quick FAQ

  • Can I put Voodoo on something other than a Reaper? Yes. One recorded fusion put it on a Phoenix Hen with the level locked. Anything with big HP works; the Reaper is simply the best farmable option.
  • Does the Reaper keep laying Haunt Eggs after the fusion? Lock the laying trait if you want to be sure. Reapers lay Haunt Eggs quickly, and losing that would slow your farm.
  • Why is Voodoo rated number one? Four creator tier lists citing the community Discord rank it first, ahead of Cycle of Ash, Rebirth, Ride of the Fallen, and Za Warudo. Full breakdown on the skills page.
