Grow a Chicken Fighter Fortune Egg: How to Get It

The Fortune Egg has the smallest pool in the game and every result is useful: two Legendary-or-better layers and a Secret. Here is how to get it and why players chase it.

Quick answer: how to get a Fortune Egg

  • Baron Cluck lays Fortune Eggs 100% of the time, so one Baron Cluck is a permanent Fortune farm.
  • Before you own one, the bridge is Agent Cluck (Arena Egg 2%), which lays Fortune 45%, or Blitz Rooster (Arena Egg 2%), 55%.
  • Founder Rooster splits its eggs 50/50 between Royal and Fortune.
  • One recorded Chicken Boss event handed out a Fortune Egg for dealing 250,000 damage; treat that as a bonus, not a farm.

No code gives a Fortune Egg, and we could not confirm any egg shop price, so chickens and the boss event are the sources.

A few post-update chickens are also reported to lay Fortune: Shockwave Hen and Talon Titan from the Colossal Egg, per one player’s footage.

Hatch pool

ChickenRarityOdds
Founder RoosterLegendary56%
Baron CluckMythic (one site says Legendary)43%
Golden GooseSecret1%

That is the whole pool. If you see a Fortune Egg table listing Mantis, Bombardier or Puffer chickens, it was pasted from the Fang Egg by mistake; those hatch from Fang Eggs, not Fortune. Sites tag the egg itself Mythical, Legendary or “gold tier”; the game only rates chickens.

What to hatch it for

Founder Rooster is the quiet star. It is the only chicken reported to lay the Colossal Egg (about 25% of its eggs when it sits in the Incubator), and its other eggs are Royal or Fortune, both high-value. It also shows up in six different egg pools, but 56% from a Fortune Egg is by far the best odds. See the Incubator guide.

Baron Cluck at 43% turns one Fortune Egg into a Fortune farm: 100% lay rate, Mythic rarity.

Golden Goose at 1% is the Secret. It is the same unit as the event boss that roams the center ring dropping coins, and it carries the Za Warudo skill that creator tier lists put in the top five. Full page: Golden Goose.

Fastest farm route

  1. Get a Slugger Hen from a Scratch Egg (8%); it lays Arena Eggs 75%.
  2. Hatch Arena Eggs until Agent Cluck or Blitz Rooster appears (2% each). Full odds on the Arena Egg page. Agent Cluck is the one creators call “the best” of the Arena hatches precisely because it opens this line.
  3. Open the first Fortune Egg. Baron Cluck (43%) gives you a 100% layer; Founder Rooster (56%) gives you half Fortune, half Royal.
  4. Park Baron Cluck in the Incubator and keep opening.

Side doors: Baron Cluck also hatches from a Royal Egg at 6% and a Blazing Egg at 9%; Founder Rooster from a Royal Egg at 6%. If you are already farming Royal Eggs, you may stumble into the Fortune line without ever touching an Arena Egg.

Common questions

Is Agent Cluck the only way to Fortune Eggs? No. Baron Cluck, Blitz Rooster, Founder Rooster and (per one roster) Golden Goose, Viper Hen and Bravo Rooster all lay them. Agent Cluck is just the earliest you will meet.

Does the Chicken Boss always give a Fortune Egg? One player’s footage shows a 250,000-damage tier paying a Fortune Egg and a 5,000,000-damage tier paying a Colossal Egg. Another site describes rank-based rewards instead. We have not confirmed the full table; see the events guide.

Which is better to keep, Founder or Baron? Baron for Fortune volume, Founder for Colossal Eggs. Most players want both, and the pool gives you both quickly.
